The Dark Player 48V 2A 96W DC Power Adapter provides stable 48V DC power for compatible PoE injectors, CCTV equipment, network devices, IP camera systems and other electronics requiring up to 2A.

With universal 100–240V AC input, a 5.5 x 2.5mm DC barrel connector, and centre-positive polarity, it is suitable as a replacement or spare power supply for a wide range of compatible 48V equipment.

AC Power Connection

The adapter features a standard IEC C14 3-pin AC inlet, the same type commonly used on desktop computer power supplies and monitors.

A standard IEC C13 mains power cable is required to connect the adapter to a wall outlet.

Important PoE Compatibility Information

This product is a 48V DC power supply — it is not itself a PoE injector.

For a standard Ethernet PoE camera or other PoE-powered device, this adapter normally connects to a compatible PoE injector, PoE switch or other PoE equipment, which then delivers power through the Ethernet cable.

Do not connect this adapter directly to equipment unless that device specifically accepts:

48V DC • 2A or less • 5.5 x 2.5mm connector • centre-positive polarity

96W Maximum Output

The adapter provides up to:

48V × 2A = 96W

It can be used with compatible 48V devices requiring 2A or less. The connected device determines how much current it draws.

For example, compatible 48V equipment rated at 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A or 2A may be powered by this adapter provided the voltage, connector size and polarity match.

Do not use it with equipment requiring more than 2A / 96W.
